As a visual designer on Minted’s Brand team, I routinely worked on a variety of collateral including emails, web assets, banner ads, and more. Because of the large number of products Minted offers, each designer is assigned a ‘category’ (Holiday, Art, Wedding, and Baby & Kids) for which they produce all the creative for. With this structure, each designer becomes familiarized with their category’s trends and marketing strategies, and also increases consistency across the creative produced within each category. During my time on the Brand team, my product category was Baby & Kids.

As the Baby & Kids designer, I worked on many different seasonal campaigns (including Back to School and Graduation) as well as campaigns centered around product collection launches (like birth announcements and children’s birthday party invitations). Each campaign would require a number of emails, web assets, banner ads, and social media imagery to be produced over 1-3 months depending on the campaign.
